there are extenuating circumstances.

any 1st round matches MUST be completed during the week commenci=

play on their normal match night, wherever possible.

up for a higher team, but any player can only play for 1 team in the
competition.

matches will be based on the total points won, including handicaps.<=

Individual pl=
ayers
will have a points handicap, hence each matches will be based on the indivi=
dual
player points handicaps of those that take part in the match.
Each and ever=
y game
played within a match will start from 0-0 and the individual player’s
handicaps will be added on at the end of the match to the total number of
points scored by the teams.
Matches will =
be
21up, two games per match.
NOTE: At 20-2=
0,
next point wins the game.
In the event =
of a
tie on points, the team that wins the most games will win the match.
If the match =
is
also tied on games, then the match will be decided by 1 doubles match
consisting of 2 out of 3 players from each team that played in the match. A
doubles team handicap will also apply.
Otherwise, th=
ere
will be no doubles match.
Player handic=
aps
“may” change from round to round depending on their opponents a=
nd
other factors.
Player handic=
aps
for team members will be issued prior to the matches to team captains.
A doubles team
handicap will also be issued, in the case of a tie.

a reserve in a handicap match, please contact the General Secretary at least
the day before the match is due to take place.
